Performers College campuses all celebrate successful Agent Panel Days

6 May, 2025

Performers College recently welcomed a whole host of agents and representatives to all four campuses, and an agent event in London. The event, organized by our Creative Futures team, provided a showcase platform for final-year students specialising in Dance and Musical Theatre.

The BA (Hons) Musical Theatre and Dance showcases at Essex and Birmingham followed a structured format, beginning with a collective warm-up session. Throughout the morning, graduating students demonstrated their versatility through two contrasting dance routines, with selected participants invited back in the afternoon sessions where they showcased their vocal abilities.

The showcases have generated exceptional industry interest, with graduating students receiving over 600 representation meeting approaches. Around 500 students across all four campuses auditioned for around 122 agents across the events, with several students already securing  professional representation. That number is expected to grow during the ongoing agent meetings. Some students received immediate job offers, such as Bradley Cook at our Birmingham campus who will be joining Disney’s Beauty and the Beast aboard their new cruise ship, beginning in July.

Our Contemporary Musical Theatre, and Acting for 21st Century pathway students at Manchester and Brighton also took part in showcases, including a day in London where they auditioned for some top Musical Theatre and Acting Agents.

Laura Keeling, Head of Careers for Performers College, commented:

“Our Agent Panel Days have once again been an amazing opportunity for students in their final year. These professional sessions bridge the gap between education and industry, offering students practical experience into the representation process while receiving direct insights, and even representation from active industry professionals.

Thanks to our Careers Managers for organising these showcases so expertly, and to our visiting agents who gave us their time. The connections formed during these events are already blossoming into solid professional relationships, and we’re delighted to see so many of our graduates moving forward with quality representation offers following these introductions”
