Birmingham is the vibrant heart of the Midlands and home to a thriving performing arts scene. Our Birmingham campus is based in Digbeth, the city’s creative quarter. Digbeth is a bohemian district well-known for its street art, independent bars, and shops. Digbeth is a short walk from Birmingham’s famous Bullring Shopping Centre, Grand Central Station, a diverse selection of restaurants, theatres, cinemas and tourist attractions. With its rich history and industrial 19th-century architecture that provides a fascinating backdrop for the arts and culture of the city, Birmingham is an exciting and inspiring place to study.

As professional dancers, singers, directors, musical directors, actors, choreographers and producers, our lecturers all enjoy busy careers across a range of industry roles.

Our new facilities consist of three large dance studios, acting and singing studios, a bespoke computer suite and a physiotherapy treatment room.

What’s the latest?
Our Birmingham campus has benefitted from a huge £2.1 million investment, providing students with additional state-of-the-art spaces and equipment to support their academic and artistic pursuits, taking total investment in the campus to over £8 million since it opened 2017.
Performers College were meeting and greeting some of the UK’s freshest talent, while students from both Birmingham and Essex campuses performed exclusive routines on the main stage and showcase stage.
On Saturday 2 March, the 35th annual BRIT Awards were held at the O2 Arena in London. Broadcast to 3.2 million people, the event featured stellar performances from Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Jungle, Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, Raye and more – including a few familiar faces from Performers College’s Essex campus.
