Performers College students perform at BRIT Awards with Becky Hill and Chase & Status
On Saturday 2 March, the 35th annual BRIT Awards were held at the O2 Arena in London. Broadcast to 3.2 million people, the event featured stellar performances from Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Jungle, Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, Raye and more – including a few familiar faces from Performers College’s Essex campus.
Students Dréa Guil-Liem, Anotonia Tom-Dollar, Lalita Jackman and Anna Gold took to the stage as part of the ensemble for two-time Best Dance Act winner and third time nominee Becky Hill. They were also joined by Best Producer winners Chase & Status in a performance of Becky’s single Disconnect, which they produced in 2023.
The students were given the opportunity to be cast by AMCK Dance, one of Performers College’s industry partners. AMCK’s Head of Dance is Kathryn Snook, a Performers College graduate herself. All our third-year Essex students as well as a number of London-based Birmingham third-year students were submitted for consideration by our Creative Futures team, with Dréa, Antonia, Lalita and Anna securing the roles.

“It is always an incredible opportunity for our students to experience professional engagements whilst training, but to work with such a brilliant casting and creative team alongside AMCK Dance and be cast in such a huge event such as The BRITs is what all aspiring performers dream of. We were thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to all of our Level 6 students based in the area.
For Dréa, Lalita, Antonia and Anna the chance to perform at The BRITs at the O2 Arena in front of a global audience of 3.2million is amazing and I know that they will have both learned a lot from the experience and enjoyed every second performing on stage with Becky Hill and Chase & Status!”
