Performers College perform at the All England Centenary Gala
All England Dance were thrilled to celebrate 100 years of AED with a spectacular Centenary Gala at London’s most prestigious theatre, the London Coliseum on 2nd April. Our Patron, Dame Arlene Philips directed this unprecedented Gala performance showcasing dancers from past and present.
Performers College students from Birmingham and Essex performed as part of the celebration in ‘My Dear Love’ created and choreographed by another of our Patrons Paul Roberts and graduate of Performers College Oli Metzler.
The evening was a spectacular celebration of dance and musical theatre with over – dancers performing from all over the UK.
Cast member Joe Cramsie had this to say about performing at the Coliseum:
‘It was such an honour to perform at the London Coliseum. On stage I was instantly hit by the electric atmosphere of this special theatre. Performing this beautiful piece in the footsteps of countless incredible dancers, was a visceral experience I’ll never forget’.
