Performers College perform and exhibit at Move It 2024
From Friday 15th March to Sunday 17th March 2024 the UK’s biggest dance event Move It 2024 took over ExCel London for three days of performances, masterclasses, exhibitors and more.
Performers College were present throughout the weekend on stand 704, meeting and greeting some of the UK’s freshest talent, while students from both Birmingham and Essex campuses performed exclusive routines on the main stage and showcase stage.
Our Essex and Birmingham campus came together on Friday to perform The Focus, choreographed by Layla Ellison.
On Saturday students from our Essex and Birmingham campus performed Big Spender, choreographed by Emma Rogers and Associate Choreographer Kyle Seeley, while students from Essex performed a Sweeney Todd Medley on the Showcase Stage.
On Sunday the Showcase Theatre hosted Birmingham with their Amelie and Star Medley, while Essex performed Le Freak on the Main Stage choreographed by alumni Mark Jennings and Billy Sawyer.
Essex Campus Dean and choreographer of Big Spender Emma Rogers said this about our performances:
Move It is a chance for the dance & musical theatre community to come together and celebrate both collaboration and performance in a welcoming and celebratory environment, and for over 100 of our students to be able to perform in performances on both the main stage and in the showcase theatre is an opportunity that young performers across the country dream of. It was incredible to see the students from the Essex and Birmingham campus come together and learn from inspiring creatives and perform to promote the brilliant things happening at both locations and show potential PC students what Performers College is all about!
Congratulations to all students and staff who performed, attended and represented Performers College throughout the weekend.
