Performers College Brings Professional Training to the Channel Islands
Performers College is delighted to announce its inaugural visit to Guernsey this January, bringing free professional performing arts workshops and auditions directly to young performers in the Channel Islands for the first time.
Running from 9-11 January 2026, the three-day event will welcome aspiring performers aged 12 and above to experience world-class training in musical theatre, dance, acting, and singing at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts.
The visit forms part of Performers College’s Access and Participation Programme, which is committed to removing barriers to professional training for talented students who may face logistical challenges in travelling to the UK. All our full-time training takes place across our campuses in Birmingham, Brighton, Essex, and Manchester, and this initiative ensures students from Guernsey and Jersey can experience our teaching style and audition for September 2026 entry without the expense and complexity of multiple trips to the mainland.

“We’re thrilled to bring this opportunity to the Channel Islands, our auditions are usually only available at our UK campuses, so creating this local provision opens doors for talented young performers who might otherwise miss out. We’re genuinely excited to meet the next generation of island performers.”
The three-day programme includes dedicated workshops for performers aged 12-21, rotating between musical theatre and dance tuition led by our experienced lecturers. It culminates in a full audition day on Sunday 11 January, where applicants can showcase their talent across acting, singing, and dance.
This visit underscores Performers College’s commitment to nurturing talent across the UK and beyond and making professional performing arts training genuinely accessible to students regardless of geography.
