Performers College Birmingham holds successful Agent Panel Days
Our Creative Futures Team recently hosted a panel of top industry agents at our Birmingham campus to scout for the freshest talent available at Performers College.
Third year Musical Theatre and Dance students performed for 19 industry guests, who represented a plethora of agencies and casting directors. After a group warm up, the students spent the morning performing two different-style dances to the panel, with a call-back session in the afternoon where students were asked to sing a vocal piece.
At the time of writing, over 111 agent approaches have been made to our final year students, with some students approached by multiple agents. A number of students have already been signed, and more are in meetings to secure their representation.
You can see what the day entailed in the video below:

Laura Keeling, Head of Careers for BIMM University Performing arts faculty, commented on the day:
“Agent Panel Days are an extremely beneficial event and a valuable tool for any third-year student. Not only do they engage in what feels like a professional audition day, but they also get feedback from our industry partners and agents and learn the process of securing representation, booking auditions, and choosing suitable audition material.
I’d like to thank Katie Kerr, Careers Manager for Performers College Birmingham, for organising such a fantastic panel for the students, and I equally thank the panel members who we hope enjoyed the day and will return year on year to seek out new talent. We wish the students success in their meetings generated from the panel events and look forward to the offers coming through of professional representation.”
Congratulations to all students who performed – fingers crossed!
