2025 Performers Graduates steal the show at Capital Summertime Ball

Twenty 2025 Performers College graduates from our Essex campus took the stage at Capital Radio’s annual Summertime Ball on Sunday, which has been running since 2009. Taking place at the iconic Wembley stadium, our departing third-years performed with Swedish vocalist Zara Larsson.

Pop icon Mariah Carey also performed, with other names including Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jessie J, Benson Boone, Tate McRae, Myles Smith, Lola Young, KSI, Reneé Rapp, Zara Larsson, Busted Vs McFly, Rita Ora, Dasha, James Hype and Remember Monday.

The opportunity came during the students’ final year with us, via industry partner Black Skull Talent. Student Naomi Worrell reflected on the opportunity:

“It was a dream come true! To be able to say I’ve danced for 90,000 people and worked with current icons in the commercial industry right after finishing up my third year is crazy. Performers College has given me a massive opportunity that I’ll never forget.”
