Performers College arrive at the first regional Can You Dance? event in Glasgow.

On Sunday 2nd April we arrived at the first Can You Dance? regional event of the season.

It was an incredible day with hundreds of talented young dancers attending held at the SEC Centre! This marked the first of six regional events held across the UK where Performers College are the headline sponsors for 2023! We can’t wait to meet all of the talented young performers that are looking to further their training in the future and be able to offer exciting, unique opportunities for those chosen within the classes to come and train with us at our upcoming events.

In Glasgow, eight of our graduating students travelled to perform in the college showcase and as the opening act for the competition!

Emily and Amauche had this to say about their experience:

‘Performing at CYD Glasgow was such a fun experience! I feel really grateful to be at a college where we are constantly given opportunities like this, and very lucky to have been chosen to perform. As someone who attended a lot of dance conventions growing up, it felt really surreal to be dancing on that stage and inspiring the next generation. To top it off I got to perform with my best friends, which meant so much especially as I graduate in a few weeks!’
