MA Performing Arts students collaborate in Birmingham

Earlier this month, two MA Performing Arts students took a trip to BIMM Institute Birmingham to join forces with the Popular Music Practice MA students for an exciting collaborative project. We caught up with Lucie Rowley and Hannah Cox, to find out more about their project, how the collaboration came together, and what they took away from the experience. Read the full story now on the blog here.

Performers College students perform at London Marathon

Scarlett Entertainment held an in house audition and cast 13 of our L5 students to be part of the Opening Ceremony at this year’s London Marathon Sunday 27th April, which was shown on BBC One. They worked alongside 7 other professional dancers in a dance choreographed by Libby Hall.

Performers College students celebrate new roles

Congratulations to these graduates (and one current student!) who are celebrating new roles. Erin Nicholson makes her debut in Boy or a Girl? as Daisy, with Layla-Grace Vrahimis joining her in the Ensemble. Joe Django and Scarlet Behl will be appearing in the new musical Come Fall in Love, a new east-meets-west musical comedy from the co-writer of Legally Blonde.

Birmingham student secures debut role aboard Disney ship

Birmingham MT student Bradley Cook has received his first professional contract after our recent Agent Panel Day via D Talent Agency – as soon as he graduates he’ll be joining Beauty and the Beast on Disney Cruise Lines.

Acting course completes first graduate year shows

Congratulations to our first graduating cohort from BA Acting for Stage, Screen and Digital Media for completing their final acting shows. Taking place at the Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham, the level 6 students performed Top Girls by Caryl Churchill, and One Man Two Guvnors by Richard Bean.

Northern Ballet School student joins Royal Ballet

Congratulations to 2024 Classical Focus graduate Eleanor Copping who will be dancing throughout June with the Royal Ballet in Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland, at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden!
