Essex Graduates join Original West End Cast of Disney’s Hercules

After previously appearing in Disney’s Aladdin musical, 2018 graduate Harriet Miller has joined the original West End cast of Disney’s new musical Hercules, based on the 1997 film. She Joins fellow Aladdin co-star Kyle Seeley, who is Assistant Dance Supervisor on Hercules.

Performers Graduates sail the seas with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines

We’re celebrating multiple successes with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines, with multiple graduates joining their on-board shows recently.

Ella-Grace Bayley and Christian Southway are appearing in Mamma Mia, Maisy Jones in The Wizard of Oz, Katie Colwill as Bombalurina in Cats and Phoebe Silver has joined We Will Rock You, with Becky Frew and Hadyn Rebbek having also appear in the show.

Northern Ballet School Graduate is off to the USA on tour

Having recently finished her tour of Spain in the Nutcracker with International Ballet, 2024 Classical Focus graduate Nova Morley King is now off for a four-month tour of America with Grand Kyiv Ballet.

Upon graduation she had been offered a contract with International Ballet Company touring in Spain and the Canary Islands along with a contract with Mergaliev Clasical Ballet, she accepted both!

Brighton Acting student selected to perform at Actors Pro Expo

Acting for 21st Century pathway Student Molly Hockham has been selected to perform a monologue at the Actors Pro Expo in London in February. She submitted a self-tape and will perform as part of the Drama Schools Showcase on the Saturday of the event. Congratulations to Molly on your selection!

Duo Fusion UK visit Essex campus for Level 6 workshops

Students in Essex were treated to an exciting workshop Duo Fusion UK this month. Connor and Tiffany took our third year Musical Theatre students through a Partner Work workshop, where students had the chance to develop new partner work skills and put them into practice straight away in a routine – an essential skill before graduation! Thanks Duo Fusion UK for joining us.

Birmingham Acting students complete first Level 6 devised module performances

Congratulations to our first Level 6 BA (Hons) Acting for Stage Screen and Digital Media cohort for completing their devised shows.

In this module the students were given a stimulus, from which they devised two shows – The Dream of Rarebit Fiend and Peppermint Square. Well done and wishing you all well for your upcoming agent showcase.
