Graduates announced in Original West End Cast of The Great Gatsby

Three Performers College graduates have been announced as joining original cast of The Great Gatsby at the London Coliseum they are: Lauren Hampton (Swing/Dance Captain), Neve McGuinness Dyce (Ensemble) and Samuel John Humphreys (Swing/Assistant Dance Captain). Congratulations all of you.

MT Course Leader represents Performers College in USA audition dates

Deputy Course Leader Kieran Jae visited the National Unified Auditions in New York and Chicago this month on our first trip to the USA. Kieran was blown away by the talent on offer and we hope to see many of our new friends join us for 2025.

Birmingham campus hosts auditions for Level 6 students

TAG Live and Carnival Cruise Lines visited our Birmingham campus this month to hold casting sessions. Level six students performed dance and vocal pieces for the casting agents, which will hopefully see some of them sailing the world after they graduate. Northern Ballet School also took part in the Carnival Cruise Lines audition, spending the day on the Birmingham campus.

Graduate Adrian Gas choreography with Take That at BAFTA Ceremony

Take That’s Howard Donald, Gary Barlow and Mark Owen appeared at the EE BAFTA Film Awards with an uplifting performance of their hit Greatest Day which appears in 2024 comedy drama Anora. Alumnus Adrian Gas choreographed the performance, the latest in a long line of high profile successes for the Essex graduate.

Brighton Students celebrate new roles for 2025

Some excellent news coming in from our Brighton Campus this month. These recent graduates from the BA Performing Arts course have announced new contracts for 2025. Chloe Bernard begins a six-month contract at Disneyland Paris, Laura Craigen joins The Paddington Bear Experience in London, and Hannah Hutchinson heads
to Parkdean Resorts. Congratulations to all of you.

Birmingham student performs at Actors Pro Expo in London

Birmingham campus Acting for Stage, Screen and Digital Media student Aoibheann Horan performed at the Actors Pro Expo in London on Saturday 22nd February. She chose a monologue from Irish playwright Sarah Hanly, which demonstrated her range, and she enjoyed portraying the strength of the character. Aoibheann has enjoyed exploring the beats of the language, and the journey of the piece. Being from Skerries, Dublin, Aoibheann is relishing performing work by Sarah Hanly (also a Performers College graduate), and feels it’s important to represent Irish culture and stories.

Graduate success for Northern Ballet School

At our Manchester campus, Northern Ballet School have also been celebrating graduate successes this month – Amaris Pearl Gillies has joined the cast of Pete Townsend’s Quadrophenia – A Mod Ballet, Emily Wilson is in London’s Night of Famous Musicals, Charlie Hodgkinson Will be sailing away with Mariella Cruises, and Chloe Lawrence has joined P&O Cruises.
