As a teacher, she has worked as a vocal/audition coach in musical theatre with acting through song, and textual analysis for plays and television at Rose Bruford, University of Westminster Drama Studio and BIMM Essex.

Influenced and under the tutelage of Terry Hands, Vivian has created and run sonnet workshops at Drama Studio and Rose Bruford and de-mystifying Shakespeare through both sonnets and scene work, work that she now brings to BIMM Essex beginning September 2024.

Physical theatre informs the way she teaches acting, and she has created workshops and classes in how to create character work through animal observation and study which then leads onto creating character through movement. This can then be used to create original monologues and brought into text work.
