Principal Lecturer - Ballet

Royal Ballet School alumna. Professional stage career in Germany spanning 20 years, to include full-time engagements with the Niedersächsische Staatsballett, Hannover - first as an ensemble member, then as a solo artist.

Performed a full repertoire of classical works both in their traditional forms and as contemporary interpretations. Created principal roles in Ondine, Spartacus and The Firebird. Contemporary dance: worked with renowned choreographers Mats Ek, William Forsythe and Jiří Kylián leading to performances of major dance works. Musical Theatre: featured dance roles at Staatstheater Germany within productions of My Fair Lady, Kiss Me Kate, West Side Story, Chicago and Cabaret.

Over 25 years’ teaching experience across private and state sectors, in both team and leadership roles. Specialisation: advanced Classical Ballet. Focus: the value of ballet within the diverse skill set of today’s Performing Artist.
