Steve Rehman
Principal Lecturer – Screen Acting
Steve Rehman has over 18 years’ experience as a professional TV director, producer and writer, with credits from all the main broadcasters such as ITV, Ch4, BBC and Sky.
One of his early films won him a place BBC drama series directors’ programme and he has also worked for RADA as a writer, studied acting there and been Course leader for the Practical Filmmaking programme at MetFilm School in London. He set up and lead on a talent programme with BBC drama and comedy for underrepresented people trying to get into the industry. Designing all the course content and arranging placements on several TV series such as Inside Number Nine and Casualty. In addition to this he also ran several courses in both Sweden and Poland for Netflix drama producers
He is currently Principal Lecturer for Screen Acting and Digital Media at the Performers College in Birmingham overseeing the screen acting programme on the BA (Hons) Acting for Stage, Screen & Digital Media course.
