Sarah Mayhew

Sarah is an actor/director and Artistic Director of Old Trunk. Additionally, she has worked extensively in theatre, TV, film, comedy, and radio.
Furthermore, she has worked as an Associate Artist at Queen's Theatre Hornchurch, Mercury Creatives at Mercury Theatre & resident artist at Metal & East 15.
Sarah started her career as a dancer working internationally & in the UK. Moreover, she performed in, produced & hosted the critically acclaimed improv group Quirkish Delight. Additionally, she appeared in & has written for a host of comedy sketch shows.
Recent Screen Credits
Sarah's recent credits include Jenny in ITV's hit drama Professor T. Furthermore, she played Nancy in Toast of Tinseltown (BBC) and Fay in Hitmen 2 (Sky) with Mel & Sue. Additionally, she appeared as Maggie in BBC's White Gold. Moreover, she played Tracy in the multi award winning, BAFTA/OSCAR listed film My Brother is a Mermaid. Furthermore, she appeared as Isobel in the feature film Cottontail.
Theatre Work
Sarah's theatre credits include Old Trunk's Fran & Leni (nominated for best actor). Additionally, her credits include Pramkicker, The Bastard Children of Remington Steele, and The Secret Life of Andy Williams. Furthermore, she has appeared in Russell Kane's Fakespeare, The Winslow Boy, The Sunshine Boys, Erpingham Camp, Danny & the Deep Blue Sea, Serving It Up, and Road.
Directing Career
As a Director, prestigious schemes selected Sarah for the RYTD scheme under Douglas Rintoul at Queens Theatre. Additionally, she worked as his Assistant on DNA for Central School of Speech & Drama. Moreover, she has directed all of Old Trunk's 4 & 5 star shows. Furthermore, Bloomsbury Methuen has published Fran & Leni and Pramkicker. Additionally, companies have staged these works worldwide.
