Rachael Crocker
Ballet Lecturer
Rachael has enjoyed a successful and varied career. Additionally, she recently filmed at Warner Bros studios for a new film directed by Steve McQueen. Furthermore, prior to that she filmed an advert for "World Asthma Day." Moreover, her most recent stage appearance was in On the Town choreographed by Ashley Page which took her to Japan.
Additionally, she worked as dance captain for Kiss Me Kate at the London Coliseum. Furthermore, she contributed to the soundtrack recording of the new Mamma Mia film "Here We Go Again." This came directly after a run at the London Palladium with Dick Whittington.
Her other credits include Strauss (UK tour), Kiss Me Kate (WNO), and Cats – playing Tantomile, Jemima, Victoria, and Demeter (RUG Australia). Moreover, she performed as Graziella in West Side Story and in Phantom of the Opera (25th Anniversary tour). Additionally, her credits include Peter Pan the Musical (u/s Wendy), We Will Rock You (Dominion & Antwerp), Fame (u/s Iris), Movin' Out (West End), The Snowman (Ice Princess), Love Shack (UK tour), Grease (dance captain West End and tour), and Phantom of the Opera (Meg Giry).
Furthermore, Rachael has appeared in two major feature films: Finding Neverland and Phantom of the Opera. Additionally, she filmed Victoria for ITV, Devils in Disguise for the Discovery Channel and the radio play Smith of Wooton Major for BBC Radio 5.
Moreover, she completed the RAD professional dancers' teaching diploma in 2014, graduating with Distinction. Additionally, she works as a CPD tutor for them. Furthermore, she has taught at Vocational Colleges across London and currently works on the faculty at Performers College Essex. Additionally, she teaches on the London Junior and Senior Ballet Associate programme.
Alongside this, Rachael serves as a judge for the Dance World Cup. Moreover, she has taught scholarship classes for the IDTA and RAD on numerous occasions. Additionally, she has adjudicated the Miss Dance and Dance Master grand finals.
