Hannah Moriarty
Acting Tutor
Hannah (she/her) is a theatre maker, actor and teacher based in London. Additionally, she trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she received her BA (Hons) in Contemporary Performance Practice. Furthermore, she returned to complete her MA in Actor Training and Coaching. Moreover, during this time she received an Embassy Scholarship.
Her research and practice focuses on making actor training practices more inclusive, from her position as a neurodivergent practitioner. Additionally, she recently presented a paper at the Motion Capture Performance and Pedagogy Symposium hosted at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
As a performer, Hannah has worked at venues such as Omnibus Theatre, Watford Palace Theatre and Watersmeet theatre.
Her speciality areas include Devising and Physical Theatre. Furthermore, she has taught across different programmes at schools including Arts Ed (Extra), Central Film School and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Additionally, she has worked as Assistant Director on the CERT HE Acting course at Italia Conti.
As a director, Hannah has worked with casts upwards of 50 as well as casts as small as 2 performers. Moreover, she assisted Katie Mitchell on the Artist Development Programme Directing with Katie Mitchell at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
