Dan gained a BMus (Hons) from the University of Surrey. Additionally, he trained on the post-graduate course at Guildford School of Acting.

Recent Musical Director Work

Dan has worked extensively around the UK as a Musical Director. Furthermore, his most recent work includes the UK tour of Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, Just So and Kiss Me, Kate! at the Watermill. Additionally, he worked on Our Blue Heaven at the New Wolsey Theatre. Moreover, he served as MD and Arranger on Justin Fletcher's show – Justin's Band.

Career Highlights

Dan's other recent work includes the UK No.1 tour of the hit musical, Jackie – The Musical. Additionally, he worked on Dick Whittington at the Wyllyotts, Beauty and the Beast and Red Riding Hood at the City Varieties. Furthermore, he served as Assistant Musical Director for the critically acclaimed production of Made In Dagenham at the Queen's Theatre/New Wolsey Theatre.

Moreover, Dan worked as Musical Director & Orchestral Arranger for Aladdin at the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch. Additionally, this production received recognition as one of the Top Ten Shows of 2015 in London Theatre 1.

Extensive Theatre Credits

Dan's extensive musical direction credits include Seussical the Musical, Chicago, The Wedding Singer, On The Streets, and Little Shop of Horrors. Furthermore, he has worked on The Dracula Spectacular, FAME, Back to the 80's, The Pirates of Penzance, and Annie. Additionally, his credits include Guys and Dolls, The Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph, and Oliver. Moreover, he has worked on The Mikado, A Christmas Carol, Captain Noah, The Evacuees and Sago The Clown.

Performance Career

Dan has also appeared on stage in numerous shows. Additionally, his performance credits include Sinbad, Made In Dagenham, Sweet Charity, Beauty and the Beast, and Dick Whittington at various venues. Furthermore, he performed in Mods and Rox (New Wolsey), Lemon - The Musical (Arts Theatre), and The Man Who Stole The Circus (Isis Theatre).

Moreover, Dan appeared in Run For Your Wife and They're Playing Our Song (Queen's Theatre). Additionally, his credits include Cinderella and Aladdin (City Varieties), Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo and Juliet (Stafford Castle). Furthermore, he performed in Buddy Vs The Killer (Raffles, Singapore), Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood (Theatre Clwyd), My Fair Lady and West Side Story (Aberystwyth Arts Centre). Additionally, he appeared in Dawlish Road (Soho Theatre), The Far Pavilions, Time's Up (Shaftesbury Theatre), and FAME (Palladium).
