Performers College Essex Facilities
Our incredible campus in Essex is self contained and located in a suburban area. The college hosts an impressive purpose designed and built, performing arts centre. It is extremely well appointed and has some of the best facilities in the country.
Situated just off the M25 motorway, it is well placed for easy access to the many theatres and TV studios in and around London.
Our facilities in Corringham
Dance studios
Our eighteen dance studio spaces are perfect for our training professionals and all aspiring performers. These generous studios not only have professional Harlequin Cascade floors, but also full-height wall mirrors, barres and state of the art speaker systems. They are used for all genres of dance and musical theatre alongside rehearsals and some lectures.
Acting studios
We have two ‘Black Box’ acting studios that are kitted out with leading sound, film and lighting and can be used for solo or group acting classes, rehearsals and more.
Vocal rooms
Our singing suite which consists of five studios are dedicated spaces for vocal training, tutorials and rehearsal. Each room contains a piano, small mixer and mirrors. They are state of the art soundproof spaces, fully air conditioned and designed specifically for vocal training.
Gym
Our Corringham campus boasts a fully equipped gymnasium that is free for all students to use Monday – Saturday. Alongside the gym we also have a tumble area used specifically for gymnastics classes and tumbling training.
Study
A dedicated space for study and frequently used to hosts lectures. With a suite of over twenty PCs this space is always busy with students studying, researching and working on projects.
Computer Suite/Library
With a selection of books available to use on campus and over 25 PCs available for student use, this space is utilised for dedicated tutorials, lectures and student self-reflection and study.
Communal Spaces
This space is reserved purely for student use and is the perfect place to relax, socialise or grab a snack. Inside, there is plenty of seating and table space, as well as vending machines
Piroueat
Our campus café is available for all students and hosts a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and healthy lunch options. Open Monday – Friday, it’s an extremely popular with our students.
Car Park
The Corringham site has a large car park with parking available for staff and students.
Our facilities in Rayleigh
Film Studio
With professional-standard facilities to work, study and rehearse in this bespoke space allows our students to experience industry-standard equipment and software and discover how to work both in front of and behind the camera.

Rehearsal/Production
Developed in 2023 this space is multifunctional and can be used for classes, rehearsals and performances. It has a bespoke design to allow students to experience a professional performance space and is equipped with the latest industry standard technology.
Mac Suite
We have one Mac suite containing Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, which are available for all students to use. Each Mac includes licensed software from Adobe, Davinci, Logic and more.

This space is reserved purely for student use and is the perfect place to relax, socialise or grab a snack. Inside, there is plenty of seating and table space, as well as vending machines
