Masterclass: Carrie-Anne Ingrouille
Creativity and performing arts have always been at the forefront of everything Carrie-Anne has done. After graduating Carrie furthered her training through various open and company classes with two of London’s most successful hip hop companies – Dance 2XS and ZooNation.
It was with the latter that Carrie continued to grow through the company from performer to teacher, dance captain, assistant and both associate choreographer and director. Fast-forwarding to more recent years and the exciting ascent of her career, Carrie’s name has become synonymous with the global smash hit musical “SIX” for which Carrie received an Olivier Award nomination for “Best Theatre Choreographer”.
Whilst working with Performers College students Carrie-Anne has shared her vast knowledge of the shows she has worked on in the West End and Internationally in order to give our graduating students a full experience of what is required by choreographers when auditioning for each specific show. This invaluable experience has led to our graduates being cast in West End and International productions.
Here’s what Performers College student Harry Robinson had to say about the experience;
‘Carrie Anne Ingrouille’s workshop gave me such an incredible insight as to how a professional musical theatre audition is taken; and with this knowledge I was able to go into future auditions with more confidence and understanding.’
