Deputy Course Leader - Musical Theatre and Dance
Kieran is a distinguished graduate of Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in London, where he earned a Distinction in Performing Arts. His career reflects remarkable versatility across television, film, theatre, and music.
On screen, Kieran has appeared as a guest episode lead in BBC1’s Doctors as Jed Caulder, played Tony in BBC Alibi’s We Hunt Together, and featured in Netflix’s Matilda directed by Matthew Warchus. He has also contributed as Musical Director and vocalist for Netflix animation projects, including Spirit Hunters. Notable guest lead roles in Doctors (2019) and Casualty (2017) further highlight his television presence. His vocal work includes performances on Adele’s Wembley Stadium Tour and Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns.
Kieran’s theatre repertoire is extensive. He originated the role of Freddy Kleiser in the world premiere of Groundhog Day: The Musical at The Old Vic, and later took over the role of Tulsa in Gypsy at the Savoy Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre, starring Imelda Staunton. His credits include Sam Mendes’ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Pepper in the 5th anniversary production of Mamma Mia!, Eddie in the 7th anniversary cast of Mamma Mia!, Tony in Billy Elliot, Nick Piazza in Fame, and roles in Dick Whittington and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. He was part of the original London cast of Jersey Boys as Bob Gaudio, covering Frankie Valli, and made his West End debut in The Witches of Eastwick.
His artistry also extends to original cast recordings, including All the Fun of the Fair, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Gypsy (2015), Groundhog Day, and Jersey Boys. These contributions underscore his enduring impact on the musical theatre landscape.
Television appearances include Teachers (C4), The Four Parts of Johnny Vegas (C4), GMTV (ITV), This Morning (ITV), Children in Need (BBC), Comic Relief (BBC), Bellissimo (Italy), and The Royal Variety Performance (ITV).
Beyond performance, Kieran is committed to actively fundraising for charities such as Momentum, a children’s charity, through annual performances.
