Hannah Moriarty

Acting Tutor

Hannah (she/her) is a theatre maker, actor and teacher based in London. Hannah trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she received her BA (Hons) in Contemporary Performance Practice. Hannah returned to complete her MA in Actor Training and Coaching where she was a recipient of an Embassy Scholarship. 

Hannah’s research and practice is toward making actor training practices more inclusive, from her position as a neurodivergent practitioner. Most recently, Hannah presented a paper at the Motion Capture Performance and Pedagogy Symposium hosted at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. 

As a performer, Hannah has performed at venues such as Omnibus Theatre, Watford Palace Theatre and Watersmeet theatre. 

Hannah specialises in Devising and Physical Theatre and has taught across different programmes at schools including Arts Ed (Extra), Central Film School and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.  Hannah has also Assistant directed on the CERT HE Acting course at Italia Conti. 

Hannah has directed a range of productions, from working with casts upwards of 50 as well as casts as small as 2 performers. Hannah Assisted Katie Mitchell on the Artist Development Programme Directing with Katie Mitchell at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
