Brian Rogers

Brian is one of this country’s leading  Choreographers / Directors. His distinctive choreography is constantly featured throughout the world. His credits include 7 ‘Royal Variety Performance’ shows, the opening of Euro Disney in Paris, the Euro 96 opening ceremony from Wembley, numerous live TV shows both in the UK and abroad, many productions for ‘Spirit of The Dance’ company, and more recently ITV’s ‘Dancing On Ice’. Brian’s enthusiastic rapport with the students ensure they absorb every ounce of his expertise and experience.


Jan Rogers

Jan’s professional career spanned over twenty years as a TV and music recording artiste. As a member of the vocal group ‘Champagne’, Jan toured the globe extensively and had several overseas chart hits. Jan then pursued a solo career working in TV, stage and film, which included a role in James Bond’s ‘Octopussy’. On stage Jan has appeared in various productions alongside many of the UK’s much loved variety stars.


Susan Stephens

Susan Stephens, was a Major Examiner for, and on the Tap Committee of the  the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Originally trained at Bush Davies, Romford,  she has many years of teaching experience including teacher training to her credit.  As a lecturer and adjudicator she has travelled the UK extensively. Susan has supplied students to demonstrate new grade work at the ISTD congress and supplied students for the many ISTD Teaching Videos.


Mike Stephens

Mike has had a great deal of experience in the day to day running of a large successful dance school and has advised many parents, dancers and teachers on career matters. He is responsible for administration and special projects at the College. Mike was also tour organiser for the highly successful and unique Brian Rogers Dance Tour.



Tracey Lee – Cert Ed Examiner

Tracey Lee trained at Bird College of Performing Arts. After graduating she toured extensively abroad as dancer/choreographer for a small touring company.  Upon her return to the UK, Tracey decided to pursue a career in teaching.  This led to her employment at Bird College where she taught for 16 years, assuming the position of Head of Jazz and Tap. Tracey was a major examiner for the ISTD and was a member of the ISTD Tap Committee where she was instrumental in creating the new Tap Grades and Awards. Tracey joined Performers in 2005 as Course Co-ordinator; and was appointed Principal in September 2010. Tracey was extremely proud to have developed the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre (Dance) Degree.

Sarah Thorne

Sarah Thorne – B.A.(Hons) – L.L.A.M.

Graduating from Liverpool University with a BA (Hons) in English and Drama Sarah began her teaching career in Guildford, gaining the Licentiate status of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She then joined the Drama Faculty at Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom. Sarah has been at Perfomers College for over 20 years. She has been instrumental in developing the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre (Dance) degree and became Vice Principal in September 2018.

Dougie Mills

Dougie graduated from Performers college in 1996. Since then he has been working as a Choreographer and Director across the entertainment industry. His creative work has spanned from shows in the Royal Albert hall to Stadiums, Londons West End and Television.
Dougie has had the pleasure of producing work in over 40 countries worldwide.


Emma Rogers – B.A.(Hons)

Emma trained at Bird College and graduated with a BA (HONS) degree in Dance and Musical Theatre. Emma works worldwide as a Director and Choreographer and has had shows headline in London, America, Japan, Australia, Monte Carlo and Canada to name just a few. She has taught at Performers College for over 10 years and choreographed for some of the biggest events all over the UK.
