Short Course Northern Ballet School Summer School
Are you interested in experiencing what it is like to be a student at Northern Ballet School?
Our free, two-day Summer School gives you that chance. Over two days at the Manchester Dancehouse you can take part in a variety of classes including Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Repertoire & Body Conditioning.
These events are very popular and do fill up quickly so book early to secure your place. We offer these courses free of charge so would ask that you only book for one of the sessions to ensure that as many people as possible can participate.
Tuition will be given by resident Northern Ballet School tutors and industry professionals and will give an insight in what it is like to be a student at Northern Ballet School.
On the final afternoon of the first course (4 July 2024) students will have the exciting opportunity of watching the dress rehearsal of the NBS Summer Production, Fosse-Robbins-Cole.
Applicants should be aged 13 or over on the date of the course and have experience in dance.
What will you learn
Summer School students have the opportunity to work with our in-house tutors and industry professionals for two days. It is an excellent way for students to learn about full-time training at Northern Ballet School.
We offer a wide variety of genres, some of which students may never have experienced before. What a fabulous way to enhance your Summer School experience even further, by learning something new with experts from the Performing Arts industry in our unique art deco building.
